How My Journey Began
My passion is to empower others to achieve their goals by transforming their mindset in order to have the lives they want. My heart is to support individuals of all ages to design their life in a way that brings a renewed sense of purpose.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Human Relations and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University. I am also a Certified Life Coach through the International Coaching Federation. My career path includes previously being a Human Resource Specialist, and I am currently a school counselor in the Sumner County School System. I find great satisfaction in supporting young people and their families. I am a wife and mom to a blended family. I have 3 grown adult children and 2 grandsons who light up my life. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, going to concerts and the beach is my happy place. I am a follower of Christ which to me means loving God with all of my heart and following His purpose for my life. This translates into loving others and meeting them right where they are.
In addition to my counseling work in the school system, I am also an instructor for Lifebridge, an organization that provides co-parenting classes to those going through a divorce. Through my own divorce, my work and personal experiences, I have had opportunities to start from now and begin again. All of these situations combined have brought me to a place where serving others to improve their mindset and confidence in themselves brings me great joy.
My personal mission is to encourage others to achieve their goals through teaching, counseling, coaching and modeling.

A coach does not tell the client what to do; it is a process bringing clarity, awareness, motivation, and confidence in moving forward.
